學校沿革及發展特色School Profile
2001年8月1日，臺中縣政府成立「臺中縣立龍津國民中學」
2010年12月25日，臺中縣市合併，改制為「臺中市立龍津國民中學」
2017年8月1日，升格改制為「臺中市立龍津高級中等學校」
目前共有國中部25個班及高中部18個班。校地面積超過5公頃，擁有生態河道、教學大樓、專科教室、400公尺國際標準田徑場、體育館以及戶外野炊場地等教學設施。提供全校師生多元學習及適性發展的教育場域。
本校設有美術班、體育班，有女籃隊、排球隊、手球隊、木球隊與棒球社，培養校園美學薰陶和運動風氣。本校積極發展校本課程，以海洋教育、國際教育、生活美學、媒體識讀素養，培養學生具備多元能力和國際視野。鄰近台中港、梧棲漁港與台中火力發電廠，與周邊居民互動良好，包括美術班學生社區彩繪活動、海岸淨灘活動以及辦理社區運動競賽等，都獲得民眾高度的肯定。
In 2001,
the Taichung County Government established "Taichung County Longjin Junior
High School"
There
are 23 classes in the middle school and 18 classes in the high school. The
school covers an area of more than 5 hectares and has teaching facilities
such as ecological water corridor, teaching buildings, subject classrooms, a
400-meter international standard track and field, gymnasium, and outdoor
barbecue venues. Provide an educational field for diversified learning and
adaptive development for teachers and students throughout the school.
Our
school features specialized classes in fine arts and physical education,
including women's basketball, volleyball, handball, woodball teams, and
baseball club. Meanwhile, our school is committed to developing a school-based
curriculum: marine education, international education, aesthetics, and media
literacy in the hope to develop students' communicative and critical thinking
skills as well as cultivate a global perspective.
Our
school is close to Taichung Port, Wuqi Fishing Port and Taichung Thermal Power
Plant, and has good relationships with local residents, including community
painting activities for art class, coastal beach cleaning activities, and
community sports competitions, etc., all of which have been highly recognized
by the public.

Vision
本校位處臺中龍井的海線地區，鄰近臺中港及臺中國際機場，國際貿易往來頻繁，學校以聯合國永續發展目標為內涵，積極發展旅遊英文課程與國際文化社團，培養學生國際理解與溝通能力，盼與各國師生交流互動，拓展國際視野。
現任校長彭佳偉博士於2023年8月1日接任，以「龍吟跨域，耀眼津中」的跨領域教與學為發展方向，並以「D-E-L-I-C-A-T-E」作為治校策略，盼能觸發學生自發、互動、共好的熱忱，並能為下個階段預作準備，迎向更具實驗教育、自主學習及跨域學習的教育藍圖。
Our
school is located in the coastal region of Longjing, Taichung. Situated near
Taichung Harbor and Taichung International Airport, the area experiences
frequent international trade activities. With a focus on the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs), our school actively develops curriculums,
including travel English and worldwide cultural clubs. We aim to cultivate
students' global views and communication skills. We look forward to fostering
exchange and interaction with various countries’ educators and students,
thereby broadening students’ international perspective.
The
current principal, Dr. Peng Jiawei, took over on August 1, 2012, with
"cross-field teaching and learning(Dragon Roar on cross domain, dazzling
in Longjin)" as the development direction, and "D-E-L-I-C-A-T-E"
as the school management strategy, hoping to stimulate students' enthusiasm for
spontaneous, interactive and mutual good, and to be able to Prepare for the
next stage and embrace an educational blueprint with more experimental
education, independent learning and cross-domain learning.
In 2010,
Taichung County and City were merged and restructured into "Taichung
Municipal Longjin Junior High School"
In 2017,
it was upgraded and restructured into "Taichung Municipal Longjin Senior
High School"
